Welcome to my blog, Talk Abaco, where we will discuss all issues, happenings, and whatever else that affects us here locally, nationally, and globally.
You may be familiar with my writing in The Abaconian, the editorial Generally Speaking. I will continue in a similar vein in my blogs here.
My whole premise, the big idea behind what I write, is that I believe that The Bahamas is a wonderful place, and Abaco is one of the most beautiful places in The Bahamas. I want to see The Bahamas reach new and better heights, and achieve the greatness that is really possible for us to attain.
I also want to enlighten, inspire and embolden every individual to be achievers. To understand and take advantage of the gifts and talents we individually have, and to create opportunities and exercise inalienable rights. To make the government sit up and take notice of the 'power of the people'.
God has blessed us with much, and my reasonable service is to multiply what I have been blessed with by sharing with everyone, and try to contribute to making my community, my town, my island, my country, and my world just a little bit better.

Just as an addendum, I will start to post my writings more frequently.
I also have in mind, and I can make no assumption as to how soon if it will ever come to fruition, that I will make a daily blog, and have certain days designated for certain categories of topic. It really is a matter of time, and how much of it I can find.
